If funky Friday nights are too aggressive for you and you are actually pining for a little bit of rock, let Jail Weddings’ noir style rock infused pop get you ~loose~. See! You don’t need a giant snail looming in the background to have a good time.
And would you look at that! Your Saturday is also booked solid with your weekly dose of Funky Sole at the Echo, which is free before 10:30pm. Also, a full serving of Bambu with support from Ricky Rivera, Kixxie Siete, Double Dosage, Remgee, Rozo Regal X and Galliroc is comin’ at you starting at 8pm at the Ecoplex.
Don’t lose your momentum since Sunday marks the start of the weekly Grand Ole Echo, filled with country music and some good ole’ fashion BBQ. The hot and spicy bluegrass group, The Jolenes, kickoff the event with Smooth Hound Smith and The Get Down Boys starting at 5pm.

Part Time Punks presents…
with a live tribute to The Television Personalities (by Sea Lions)
The Wedding Present (by Heathers)
Why You’ll Wanna Go:
Part Time Punks pays tribute to John Robert Parker Ravenscroft…aka JOHN PEEL…the world’s greatest DJ and one of the most important musical taste-makers of the 1970s, 80s, 90s and up until his passing on October 25, 2004… And we do this in inimitable PTP form…first of all, by having live tributes to two of Peelie’s favourite bands, THE TELEVISION PERSONALITIES (by PTP faves, The Sea Lions) and THE WEDDING PRESENT (performed by Heathers). Secondly, you’ll get to hear ONLY Peel Sessions all nite long on the dance floor! And make sure you tune into the PART TIME PUNKS radio show in coming weeks for a whole bunch of extremely rare Peel Sessions that have been piling up here at PTP HQ and haven’t been shared with a soul…including dozens of rare & unreleased tracks that haven’t been heard since
